What we collect

SudokuHint uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. These services record:

• The page you visited (URL path only)
• Approximate country (derived from your IP — IP itself is not stored)
• Browser and operating system family (e.g. "Chrome on Android")
• Anonymous performance metrics (page load time, interaction latency)

We never collect:

• Your name, email, or any personal identifier
• Your IP address (Vercel discards it after deriving the country)
• A fingerprint, advertising ID, or cross-site tracking token
• Your Sudoku game progress — every puzzle lives only in your browser's local memory

Cookies

SudokuHint sets no third-party advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics uses a single non-tracking first-party cookie to deduplicate visits within a session; that cookie stores no personal data and expires when you close the tab.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes the analytics events above and follows its own privacy policy. No other third parties receive your data.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not store personal data tied to you, there is no "account" to delete, no email list to opt out of, and no data export to request. If you want to be excluded from anonymous analytics, your browser's "Do Not Track" signal or an ad-blocker that blocks Vercel Analytics will prevent any events from being recorded.

Changes to this policy

If we add a feature that changes how data is handled — for example, an optional account system — this page will be updated with the date and details. There is no email list to notify, so check back here.
